Miura Set to Make a Splash at Retail’s Big Show 2017
Last year was another huge year for Miura Systems. We’ve scooped yet more industry accolades, launched some major new products and expanded our team and our ambition even further. But this is no time to stand still – that’s not what our customers want and that’s not what the breakneck pace of the payments industry will allow. With that in mind, 2017 will only be a couple of weeks old before one of the biggest dates in the US retail calendar comes around: the National Retail Federation’s annual convention and expo.
Miura will be there again at Booth #918, so stop by the stand to hear how our mobile payments and POS platforms can help transform your business this year.
AI, AR and beyond
It’s no coincidence the NRF convention is known as Retail’s Big Show. Over three days in New York’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, over 30,000 attendees are expected from nearly 100 countries round the world. Many will come to see some of the 300+ speakers lined up for the show. Luminaries from all over the world will descend on New York to share their insight with the audience, including Intel CEO, Brian Krzanich; Virgin Group founder, Sir Richard Branson; the head of the New York Fed, William Dudley; and even former US astronaut, Captain Scott Kelly.
This really is the place to be if you want to get the kind of fast track insight into emerging trends which could differentiate your business from the competition. Industry experts will share their experience and predictions on everything from AI and robotics to how virtual and augmented reality are reshaping the retail space. Closer to home, there’ll be plenty of time devoted to omnichannel and how businesses can benefit by integrating online and bricks and mortar retail into a seamless experience for the customer.
As we’ve been saying for years at Miura Systems, a vital piece of this puzzle is mobile. At the moment that means smartphones and tablets. But we also have to keep one eye on the Internet of Things and the potentially disruptive power of wearables in the retail and payments space.
The Miura difference
As a leader in mPOS, payments and POS, we’ll be adding our voice to the conversation over the three days. Among other things we’ll be showing off our POSzle platform. Launched to acclaim in 2016, it’s a modular tablet POS hardware bundle, with integrated payment, designed to offer SME retailers a leading out-of-the-box POS experience. Most importantly, its modular design means SME owners can add and integrate in additional elements as their business grows – so the platform remains future-proof.
As increasing numbers switch to EMV payments we think US retailers and ecosystem players will see the value in our wide range of beautifully simple, secure and versatile POS and payments hardware. Drop by our stand at Booth #918 to see how we can help you.
