Time to Dust Down the Tux as Miura is Shortlisted for Two Major Awards
At Miura Systems our mission is to create beautifully simple, speedy and secure payment and POS experiences for our customers. And in just a short space of time we’ve managed to build a reputation globally for doing exactly that, with a blend of innovative hardware and flexible APIs. It’s especially satisfying when we receive industry recognition for these efforts.
This is why I’m delighted to reveal that Miura has been shortlisted for two prestigious award ceremonies: the British Small Business Awards and the Payments Awards 2016.
Building success
Over the past few years we’ve focused on building out an extensive range of mPOS and POS products for an ever-expanding list of clients and industry partners. This includes the Shuttle, M010 and M007 – three PEDs that will fit the mobile Point of Sale needs of any business, from micro-merchants all the way up to high street retailers.
More recently, we’ve extended our innovative approach to the POS space with two new platforms: POSzle and ITP. With these, the focus has been on future-proofed, flexible architectures that take all the hassle out of payments and POS. As ever from Miura, you can expect powerful, stylish devices at a highly competitive price point.
The year of POSzle
I’m thrilled we’ve been shortlisted at these two prestigious awards, which will take place in London in October. The British Small Business Awards celebrates the very best this country’s thriving small business scene has to offer. Being shortlisted as Technology Provider of the Year is very special for us, especially considering that there are over five million small businesses in the UK today, accounting for over 99% of the country’s private sector.
Meanwhile, at the Payments Awards 2016, the recently launched POSzle platform is in contention for the Best In-Store Payments Solution gong. In fact, POSzle was at the heart of both of our award entries and it’s no exaggeration to say it’s our standout achievement of the past year.
POSzle really is a breakthrough in payments for small businesses because it allows them to benefit from the same kind of powerful, feature-rich, innovative and beautifully designed technology as their larger and better resourced counterparts. It combines fixed and mobile POS and integrates with numerous peripherals to provide unrivalled flexibility. For smaller firms, this means an offering which can grow as their business grows. We think it’ll help a whole new swathe of businesses drive profits and wow their customers while minimising support and other operating costs.
Whatever happens in October, the team here has done a great job to get this far. And it’ll certainly not distract us as we carry on building out industry partnerships and putting innovative new products in the hands of businesses across the globe.
