Tie-up continues Miura’s impressive overseas expansion strategy

London, 3rd May 2016 - Miura Systems is delighted to announce German payments provider Powerpay21 as its newest partner, in a deal which will allow even more businesses to benefit from Miura’s leading range of mobile Point of Sale (mPOS) hardware. Powerpay21 offers a compelling FinTech proposition to German and European businesses on the move.

The firm is a one-stop-shop, providing the full gamut of integrated payment solutions – including acquiring and issuing services, PCI-compliant hosted payment pages, multi-currency and omni-channel payments, and mPOS. Its mPOS21 service, powered by Miura Systems, enables businesses to drive sales, expand their customer reach and create seamless payment experiences through mobile Point of Sale devices. These are certified to the highest standards – including PCI and EMV levels 1 and 2 – and come with full deployment support. Clients will get their own individual merchant acquiring account and access to a management portal with complete view of all transactions on their devices.

“We are happy to announce that our mPOS21 solution is live”, said Dietmar Knoechelmann, CEO of Powercash21, an acquiring bank that is part of the Powerpay21 group. “Offering merchants, whether in Direct Selling or Ecommerce, a mobile solution to accepting card payments allows us to cater to the needs of modern as well as traditional sales sectors.”

Miura Systems is a leader in the burgeoning mPOS space – offering beautifully simple, secure and flexible payment devices for the 21st century business. Our Shuttle is ideal for micro merchants and mobile sales staff; the M007 supports higher retail volumes in or out of the store; while the M010 offers the versatility to go mobile, counter-top or in-store. All support Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and VPay card present transactions using Chip and PIN or swipe and are built to the highest specifications, at a price point which won’t break the bank.

“We’re delighted to partner with Powerpay21; the company has put in a tremendous amount of effort to get to this point and we look forward to helping it drive a return on this investment through sales of our industry leading mPOS devices,” said Katrina Beckwith, Sales Director for EMEA at Miura Systems. “Powerpay21’s customer base is an ideal fit for Miura and we can’t wait to bring the power of mPOS to a whole new market of German businesses.”

The partnership deal continues Miura Systems’ impressive international expansion efforts which have seen the firm ink deals in the US, Australia and beyond.

Miura Systems was placed third in the inaugural Sunday Times BT Business SME Export Track 100 last year, as a firm with one of the fastest-growing overseas sales of any SME in the UK.
