Redefining POS and Payments with the All New POSzle

Last week was a busy week for Miura Systems. First up there was the launch of our new POSzle, – a state of-the-art modular tablet Point of Sale (POS) bundle, which has already been garnering rave reviews. We also had a hugely rewarding couple of days at the Retail Business Technology Expo (RBTE) in London where we met with customers, partners and had a chance to demonstrate POSzle hands-on for the first time. As we see market demand for mPOS, mobility and omni-channel steadily increasing, I’m delighted to say Miura is leading from the front with a knockout portfolio of products.

POSzle makes a splash
Super cool central London venue Icetank was the location for our POSzle launch. Over 100 journalists, partners and customers joined us in the cutting edge events space as we unveiled the product. POSzle is an elegant but powerful modular tablet POS bundle that supports integrated payments that’s ready for any dynamic retail or hospitality environment.

Its modularity means you can connect a range of different payment devices and third party peripherals for maximum flexibility, allowing retailers to evolve the solution over time as their business grows. There’s a host of unique features on there which help Miura partners lower TCO and drive RoI including Miura Revive. This innovative function enables key software to be restored quickly and easily, on site, in the event of an error.

All in all, it’s a powerful, easy-to-use system which offers retailers the freedom to run fixed and mobile POS and payments at a hugely disruptive price point. If the launch event was anything to go by, it’s going to make quite an impact on the market.

Revolutionising retail at RBTE
Miura has been going to RBTE for two years now. Europe’s largest retail solutions is a stand out event for us as it brings together retailers, service providers and a hugely diverse set of visitors. It’s always been a great place to meet customers and partners and show off our latest product portfolio, and this year was no different.

We always learn something new at the show thanks to the range of workshops, presentations and seminars that take place at the event. And I’d like to think we also brought something to the table this year via our SVP of Sales, Mark Roberts, who shared his insights during a well-received panel debate on ‘Instore Mobile Payments’.

It’s quite telling that the payments space has evolved so rapidly during the six years since the first expo. It’s no exaggeration to say that mPOS really is revolutionising retail. For larger companies it’s all about empowering staff to interact more closely with their customers – taking the check-out to the shopper rather than the other way round. And for small businesses they now have cheap and easy access to the kind of business applications and technology that are helping them punch well above their weight.

Sitting at the vanguard of all this change is Miura Systems – and we can’t wait to see what the next six years and beyond have in store.
